normally students who are academically weak are the one who normally get bullied by other non-disabled students and not to miss out will be the teachers themselves. students sometimes are the follower of the adults behaviour eg: if you are a kind teacher who teaches your students to respect each other and be kind to them no matter what level of their ability to perform in school or socially towards their behaviour, the non-disabled students will help to respect the disabled /special needs students individually. they will also learn to understand that not everyone is as lucky as they are and with their differences from individually they will also learnt to appreciate the special needs more.
as for the special needs who have actually had a chance to be with the non- disabled students in the mainstream class will also benefit them as they learnt to developed self confidence, new skills and greater independence.

in another way, both non- disabled students and disabled students have help each other in their lives where education books will not teach at all. the moral of all the respect from each other come from individually heart. for the disabled student they are unfortunately yet to develop this feeling towards the other students. they might not have a feeling to express thank you to the friends but deep down in their heart they are very welcome friends from the non-disabled students. just by talking or saying "hello", to the special needs child will actually made them feel like they are being accepted by the society. to us, we are so use to say "hello", and "bye" to friends almost everyday but not to the special needs. the special needs might not have anyone to wish them good morning or even say "bye", to them in months or years except from their loving parents who had not ever think they have given up on them at all.

why are these special needs so different from the non- disabled? just because they are "stupid",(that's what most teachers labeled them as), slower, speech delayed, non expressive , naughty or they have been labeled (as special needs)ever since they were born!

but do you know all the label is not just to the special needs who had diagnosed by the profession. it could happen to any of non- disabled students but yet they can excel in other field. an austistic child can paint a painting and got sold of for thousands of pound.
can a non- disabled student do it without going for drawing classes????? the austistic child had the ability by visualising of what she/he had seen in the morning or maybe few months ago and paint it out just by free hand. ask yourself can you do it too? the most amazing thing about this special needs child is that he never ever able to sit down and pay attention to the teachers in school and he was just 11years old then when he had became an artist in London. so why do you want to label them "stupid"? the true is they are not, as they are also earning lots of money compare to a teacher.

why are those teachers love to comment on special needs child and then gave excuses saying the child is at fault causing the class being disruptive. teachers already know that the school had excepted the special needs students , so as a teachers they should learn how to control the class no matter how disruptive they were. what are teachers for in school? to guide and teaches the students no matter they are non-disabled or disabled child! if you think that you as a teachers who cannot handle a special needs child just because he/she is not listening during the class, try to get extra classes to upgrade your level of teaching. the easiest way is through internet searching. but if you fail to do so and think that you still don't to deserve to teach such a bad brat.....try switching your job.....be a housewife or any other job as long as you are not in the education line cause you are causing a human life to fail!!!!

don't forget the special needs have a chance to come to the world here, it means they have a chance to live on their life and go on to find their happiness through their own world and paces. they have feeling like yours, they have tears like yours, they have laughter like yours and also have same colour of red blood like everyone do in this world.

come on, teachers! give them hope and chance to get a proper education....is also a chance for them to lead on their life......teachers are there for them to show guidance, love and kindness. not to belittle them and leave them alone!

my daughter never gave up when she was in the ICU when she was just a few days old. she fight for her life to stay with us. she had did it successfully for 9 precious years. she was so happy everyday to be with us and she knew that she was not the same as others but she never gave up hope to learnt to be improve everyday and every minute. everynite she told me that she was a special need girl and that's why she had to see all the therapist to improve herself. she said she love going there because she knew she will become like her friends one day. able to have lots of friends, able to sing well, to write and read well and able to play in sports well.

if a special need can think so positively, why can't the adults think that way too. why teachers are the one to look down on them? are you sure that you will never get a chance to have a special needs child in future...your grandchildren or great grand children? how sure are you?

every parents wish for a healthy and a good child to be born but if my daughter is a special needs that is not her fault at all but is the God who gave me a reason to love and appreciate a human life more and show me to the guidance to help and care for them.

i hope all teachers who have ever read my blog will understand a special needs child's parents every wish they want is the acceptance of the society toward the child to give them a chance to prove to you that they can do it if you try harder on them.

let's not give up on them till the God decide to give them up.

maids from hell!

i have many bad experience with maids. in fact, there was a year where i have to change 6 maids with 3 agencies. not becos i was a fuzzy employer or a maniac! they are! i have maids that are crazy for her lover who is a singaporean and is 80yrs old and that was also one of her reason to come to malaysia to work hopping to meet up with him.....but later i found out that the old man already divorce her 6yrs ago and since then they have not contact her. later we found out that she always talk to herself and laugh to herself.....she will wear her tight fitting dress at night before sleep and swinging in front of the mirror to pretend that she is a supermodel....by the way she was a 45 yrs old and very plump type of body woman....

another want try to feed my daughters paracetamol everyday so that they get drowsy and won't get sick.....she speak perfect cantonese and have 3yrs experience in kl before...and that was the advantages that i thought was a benefit to me!

another want tried to run away with my 2 1/2 yrs old daughter when she was here for 4 days! i had to leave her with my younger daughter cos she was sleeping and my older girl were ready to go to kumon cls! something was wrong when i couldnt contact her from my hp the minute i reach the center. i left my older girl with the teacher and rush back....thank god...is was just a 5mins drive! i came out frm the lift and she was carrying my daughter without her shoes on ready to go into the lift. i asked her where was she going and she said....no where..just jalan jalan only! i asked to lock the hse gate and doors get my daughter slippers. she passed me my hp that i had left it at home with her and just as she went into the hse, the hp rang. a man with indonesian accent called and demanded me to let him speak to my maid! i hang up the hp and asked my maid who she had made called to? and she said she had nvr made any calls!
later i received a sms from the same indonesian man and asked my maid to get a taxi and bring along my daughter to cheras leisure mall and he will be waiting there!
just imagined if i came back just a few minutes later....my daughter will be a gone case!
that was a few years back and i had not got any better maid at all......lazy, deaf, stupid all u can mentioned!
the longest that worked with me was the recent one who will be 1 year next month! she had never been a smart or good learner maid! she did her worked without systematic or in sequence! none of her work were tidy and clean! she can hang the clothes half way and then went and clean the toilets. and all the clothes will be all outside till she realised she had not finished her clothes yet! her cooking were never improved at all! i bear with her all the time! she will even spoiled our newly bought clothes with clorox and wen asked.....tak tahu!( favourite indonesian answer) my other philliphino maid also cannot take up with her. so they always quarrel!
i had sent her back to agent to counsell and also talk to her nicely but......she will never understand our counselling! she only think that she had done nothing wrong except we like to scold her! don't she ever use her brain to think why an employer will scold her! she thinks we hired her to scold her for fun?! brainless!
her mistakes getting worst until one day she cooked a vegetable soup with all worms and insects floating in the pot of soup and yet she feed my daughters with it!....guess wat her answer was......yea for sure....tak tahu! i might not blamed her for the insects and worms in the soup cos sometimes those vegetables she never wash and cleaned probably....the insects and worms normally hide in the vegetables! but i was angry with her how come she never open her eyes to see that there were dirty things in the pot of soup......everyone can see it! and she can continued to feed the children......another brainless act!
lately, things got worst wen my new philliphino maid came and i had asked my indonesian maid to teach and guide her. thank god! all my children like her and she was a fast learner as well! but my indonesian maid still did silly mistakes and i had my limit offline! she got scolded by me and then i will forgot about it.....but as an employer we wish that she will learnt after we had scolded her. but she blamed it on my new philliphino maid and us for scolding her all the time!
it means she will never know why we scold her for wat she had done was a serious mistakes!
another brainless act......was wen i bought a curry gravy frm a mamak shop (it was packed in a plastic bag) i asked the indonesian maid to pour the gravy into a bowl and put in the rice cooker to warm it up and i will eat later. guess wat i found wen i open up the rice cooker......a plastic packet of curry gravy that i had bought tis morning inside the rice cooker heating up( she had not pour it out to a bowl) where is her brain!

the latest incident was that she steam egg with charcoal together in it!we found out wen my niece tried to eat the steam egg and found a patch of black colour thing sticking to the steam egg and also the plate that she use to steam together with the egg! i cannot thing of anything else except charcoal......tried to clarify with my niece too and she also think that it look more like charcoal!
as usual wen i asked her she answer me ......tak tahu and insist that she had not put anything into the steam egg!
i cannot imagined she had tis brainless act to us and she compliant to my niece that i was not a good employer compare to my in laws!
when my frens asked me why she wants to do that....the answer was she was jealous with my new philliphino maid who is more capable than her and get to travel for holiday with us during the christmas! she had to stay with my in laws for few days and they found out my niece money was stolen! though i have no evidence but we have to becareful of her! i got so many complaint from my in laws during her stay and also frm my sis in laws maids! mainly was she was lazy and like to pretend thing were all finish wen only 1/2 of her work had done!
now she kept on pin pointing the new philliphino maid if she doenst finish her task and scolded just for little bit of things! really tak malu indonesian! as if she was her boss! i will not take the risk to renew her permit for another year and i guess she should be blacklist from coming to malaysia!
is un fair to MALAYSIAN employer and is a waste money to hire tis type of indonesian maid!

yea! i am pregnant!

my poor boy who will be turning 3yrs old in feb'22nd told me if i want a baby, i can take his Mr.Bean's bear instead and he doesn't want a real baby in my tummy. how hurt it was when he told me that. i feel hurt not becos he doesnt want a new baby but i was hurt becos he was so scared that i will never loved him anymore and becos of his insecurities had cause him all the trouble to think that he will never love a new baby in future.
i tried explainning things to him and told him that he will become a big brother if i had another baby but he kept on insisting that he will be my only baby and started to cry. the more i see him being so insecure the more i feel i am not ready for a baby yet....it will be my 4th baby!
but God's wish....i was tested positive just two days after my son's offered his bear to me as my new baby.
the minute i know i was pregnant....i taught i supposed to be happy but instead i was lost at words.....i told my husband that i started to feel nausea which i had not feel it at all the last few minutes before i tested with my tester! i was asking alot of questions to myself! i was not stable and cos myself to vomit out whatever i had for dinner.
i cant face my favourite son. how am i going to tell him that i am pregnant? will he be offering another soft toys to replace my baby?
the other two older girls were very happy to hear that but i do not want to spill the news to my son yet! why?i know this will be over anyway! well, maybe becos i had been breastfeeding him everynite! the bonding was so strong and i love him so much that i was so worried to hurt him as i will had to stop breastfeeding.... my only chance to be close to him privately...during daytime i spent most of my time with the other older girls.
i couldn't sleep that nite and my stomach was like full of air roaming around inside. i still breastfeed him on that nite and i know it will be over soon and also to start all over again with a newborn baby is tiring!
i hope my new born will have the same character like my son who is easy going and happy all the time!
thank God! hope everything goes on smoothly as today will be my 1st day to wean off my son from my breast!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://evelynyap.blogspot.com/2008/12/yea-i-am-pregnant.html' title='yea!
